We l...I say go for it, and have those 3 extra days. We left Gab for 18 days with Mamie when he was a year old while we were down in Italy having a fabulous time. We got comments that 18 days was way too long to leave a child that small, hints that we were awful parents for wanting to separate ourselves for that long, but it was a great vacation for both him and us. And, those little breaks away from the kids are so few that you can allow yourself to indulge once in awhile and not feel guilty about it. Think about the sleeping in, the movies, the restaurants, ahhh the possibilities.
